With WaterLase dentistry, we can offer our patients nearly pain-free treatment. Laser dentistry allows us to eliminate harmful bacteria while promoting and strengthening gum tissue. WaterLase dentistry is used to perform a number of treatments quickly and painlessly such as contouring excess gum tissue to eliminate the problem of a “gummy” smile, removing oral growths and relieving the pain of cold sores and fever blisters, fixing a “tongue-tie” where excess tissue inhibits movement of the tongue, treating periodontal disease by getting rid of diseased tissue from underneath the gums and sterilizing the periodontal pockets, crown lengthening used to expose a great amount of tooth structure for proper support and fit of a dental crown, preparation and filling of cavities with minimal use of the drill, greater comfort and no injections in most cases.
