At Tysons Dentistry, we are very serious about the guidelines we follow to keep our patients safe during treatment. We follow the safety protocols set by OSHA and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that require us to do daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance.
We keep a checklist of these routine maintenance inspections, and our team works together to make sure that they are carried out in a timely manner. We are meticulous about housekeeping and the day-to-day cleanliness of our office.
Our daily safety procedures include:
- sterilizing our instruments using an autoclave
- disinfecting operatory rooms between each patient visit
- using disposable products when possible
Every member of our team wears disposable gloves and masks during exams and treatments in order to ensure your safety.
We provide goggles for our patients for eye protection as well. Even though digital x-rays significantly reduce the amount of radiation you are exposed to, we take the extra precaution of providing every patient with a lead apron for an added layer of safety.
