Patients avoid the dentist for many reasons. For some, it's a time concern, while for others it's cost. Many patients, however, stay away from the dentist because of fear or anxiety. Whatever the reason is that you've stayed away, at Tyson's Dentistry, we want you to know that you're always welcome here, judgment free. We're not concerned about how long it's been, or why you've stayed away, we're just happy you're back and ready to receive dental services in Vienna, VA.

Preventative Dentistry

Prevention is your first line of defense against dental issues such as oral cancer, tooth decay, and gum disease, so after we get you back on track, we'll recommend that you visit us every six months or twice per year. At these visits we'll not only remove excessive plaque buildup with a thorough cleaning, we'll also screen you for all the dental issues each time you come. This will ensure that we detect any problems in their earliest stages.

Sedation Dentistry

If you've stayed away because you're fearful, you're not alone! Millions of Americans suffer from dental phobias that keep them from getting the treatment they need and deserve. At Tysons Dentistry, we offer sedation dentistry for our fearful patients. Nitrous oxide is a breathable gas that can help you relax and "take the edge off" during your dental appointments. Nitrous works quickly, yet also leaves your system just as quickly, so you're able to drive yourself home and participate in your normal activities. It's also safe for children.

Oral sedation is administered through a pill prescribed by our doctors. You'll take your medication approximately one hour prior to your appointment, and while you'll still be conscious and responsive, you'll be completely relaxed and have little to no memory of what went on during your appointment.

Whatever your needs may be, our warm and friendly team looks forward to welcoming you to our practice. We encourage you to call and schedule your next appointment, remember - no judgment!
